Without being able to fi nd a proper way to stop it, the grandfather came up with a single question to distract Mei. “Do they fi ght in the town like they do in this house?”
“No, rarely.” Mei replied in a tone of plainness, slowing her hand, adding,“There’s nothing for them to fi ght.”
“Oh? How strange.” The grandfather was amazed.
